How do you ship?
We offer shipping via United Parcel Service for most items. Standard Ground (3 to 7 business days), 2nd Day Shipping (2 to 3 business days) and Next Day Shipping (1 business day). Shipments requiring Saturday delivery must be marked accordingly. Saturday Delivery - $12.50 per envelope or package * No charge for UPS Hundredweight shipments * No charge to countries where Saturday is a business day We use Freight shipping (7 to 14 business days) for heavy or oversize items. You can select your preferred method of UPS shipping on the "Shipping Information Page" when completing your order.

What are your shipping rates?
Shipping rates quoted are estimates based on the information you have supplied and calculated by weight and point of delivery. Rates quoted here are based on UPS published rates. Shipping rates do not include duties, taxes or other non-routine customs brokerage charges. Other shipping charges, surcharges or accessorial charges may apply and your final shipping charge may differ based on your shipper characteristics and the characteristics of, and services requested for, packages actually tendered to UPS.

When should I expect my order to arrive?
It's important to consider item availability and the shipping option selected. Orders placed by 2pm CST will usually ship within 1 to 4 business days. If there are any problems processing your order you will be notified as soon as possible by our staff. If your order MUST arrive by a specific day, choose the shipping method accordingly!

Total time for delivery
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items.Total time equals processing plus shipping time.

Split Shipments
We may fulfill the items in your order at different times and with different centers, so your order may arrive in different boxes and at different times. We do not charge extra for these split shipments

Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value if necessary to ensure prompt delivery of your order. Due to the heat in the summer months, some chocolates and other heat sensitive ingredients may be replaced by more hearty selections. If we decide to substitute an ingredient we will always try to replace it with one similar in nature that has an equal or higher value.

Perishable Items
To ensure that these highly perishable items reach your home at the height of their freshness, any orders including perishable items will be shipped UPS 2nd Day Air or FedEx Overnight. For optimal freshness and fullest enjoyment of our products, we strongly recommend that you or someone else is there to sign for the package(s) when it arrives at your address in order to ensure that items can be properly refrigerated or frozen as soon as possible. You may choose for the package to be left at your door, but CaledonianKitchen.com will not take responsibility if the items spoil. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our exquisite products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand.

Do you ship outside the US?
Updated March 27, 2007** Caledonian Kitchen will begin limited international shipping soon!
Due to the nature of our food products we have previously been restricted by various customs policies in regard to international shipping. We will begin shipping our full line of products to Australia, Canada and New Zealand within a matter of weeks. These new shipping locations will coincide with the launch of the new website version that is currently in production.

Can I send an order to someone other than myself?
Yes. We will ship your order anywhere in the U.S. To change the Shipping address, click the CHANGE ADDRESS button at the top of the Shipping Information page, enter the new Shipping address and select CONTINUE.
