SHIPPING NOTICE: This is a fresh frozen, perishable item and ships separately in a insulated lined container! During Check Out: If you live in the lower 48 states, you MUST choose either 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air as shipping method or we will NOT ship! Failure to choose the appropriate shipping method will result in your order being cancelled immediately.

ALASKA and HAWAII Residents: You must choose UPS Next Day Air. Failure to choose the appropriate shipping method will result in your order being cancelled immediately.

Frozen Haggis is shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air ONLY on Mondays and Tuesdays each week. UPS Next Day Air frozen orders are shipped Monday - Wednesday ONLY. Orders received after Wednesday 12pm CST will ship the following week!

We strongly recommend that you or someone else is there to sign for the package(s) when it arrives at your address in order to ensure that items can be properly refrigerated or frozen as soon as possible. You may choose for the package to be left at your door, but CaledonianKitchen.com will not take responsibility if the items spoil. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our exquisite products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand. Your order will ship from us frozen. It is normal for a slight thawing to occur in shipment, and it is safe to refreeze when you receive your order. Thawing time for an 4lb haggis is 1-2 days in the refrigerator prior to cooking or place in cool water for 6-9 hours if it needs to be thawed quickly.

Preparation: "Thaw in refrigerator, remove outer wrapping, steam in colander in a large stockpot, 2 to 3 hours or up to at least to 155 degrees Fahrenheit internal temperature before use. Do not immerse in water or cut the casing."
