Our Haggis
Only the finest of ingredients are acceptable to make haggis the Caledonian Kitchen way. This is the famous haggis enjoyed by thousands of visitors to the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games. Since 1996, members of the Scottish Clans of North Texas, Burns Societies, and native Scots have chosen The Caledonian Kitchen Haggis to be served at their Robert Burns Night Banquets. The secret of the superb quality of our haggis is the meticulous attention we give to both cooking methods and choice of ingredients. USDA Choice sirloin beef and liver, onions, the finest spices, and the highest quality oats are simmered gently in small batches to produce haggis whose richness of flavor would befit the nobility of Scotland itself. Stews & Soups
Just about everyone we know loves Irish stew, and for quite some time our customers asked us to make a Caledonian Kitchen version. After a long labor of love that involved a lot of research and testing, we came up with a unique cooking process that produces the thick, savory broth characteristic of the best Irish stews. We also developed two special recipes that, we are honored to say, our Irish friends have declared to be superb. Choose from Irish Stew with Beef or Irish Stew with Lamb.

Whisky Cakes
As our friends know, the Caledonian Kitchen strives to bring recognition through our products to the influence of Scottish history and culture in America. We produced our special whisky cake with this goal in mind. Whisky cake originated, of course, where whiskey began – in Scotland and Ireland, and it accompanied the movement of Scottish culture to America in the same way the traditional methods of fine Scottish distillers were brought to the New World. Each of our gourmet whisky cakes showcases one of the whiskys or spirits associated with our Scottish ancestors. Our recipes are unique, combining the rich, buttery taste of traditional Scottish shortbread cake with the strongly spirited flavors of whisky and a variety of complementary ingredients. Choose from Barbados Rum Cake, Chocolate Bourbon Cake, Single Malt Whisky Cake, and Irish Whiskey Cake.
