There is a deeply rooted kinship between the Scots and the Irish dating back to ancient times and enduring through centuries of shared experience. The Laird has developed three separate and distinct recipes. Our friends and customers have declared these stews superb. The sampler contains one each of our County Cork Irish Stew with Lamb, County Antrim Irish Stew with Beef and the Scottish Tavern Stew with Beef.
Each of our gourmet whisky cakes showcases one of the whiskies or spirits associated with our Scottish ancestors. Our recipes are unique, combining the rich, buttery taste of traditional Scottish shortbread cake with a variety of complementary ingredients. This sampler contains one each of our Barbados Rum Cake, Single Malt Whiskey Cake, Chocolate Bourbon Cake, and Irish Whiskey Cake.
